| Charlie Self is an award winning freelance photojournalist, covering subjects in many hundreds of magazine articles and dozens of books. With nearly 50 books published plus well over a thousand articles across a wide variety of magazines, he provides information for auto restorers, builders, homeowners; street rodders and woodworkers, on tools, wood and woodworking, yard and garden, business, auto photo features while also writing profiles and interviews. He was a Contributing Editor for Remodeling News from 1994. He has been a contributor to Woodshop News, Woodworker’s Journal, Smart Homeowner. Several of Charlie’s books have been chosen as alternate or main selections by book clubs. He has also contracted as an editorial or project consultant for companies including Woodworker's Supply, Grizzly Industrial, McGraw-Hill, Time-Life, UGL, Yankee Motor Company and Georgia-Pacific.
